Something awesome is coming to the Mid-Michigan area!

Living and working in the Mid-Michigan area, it's become abundantly clear that there is a gap in the indie/nontraditional wedding genre. Vendors who specialize in custom, artistic, unique weddings are hard to fine and few and far between. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to discover and reach out to other likeminded vendors in the Mid-Michigan area, vendors with a passion to create unique, beautiful items and who strive to give their clients that custom/luxury experience.

This feeling prompted me and Margaret from Edgewood Place Occasions to co-host RockSugar Mid-Michigan this past March. We loved it so much that we have decided to launch our own brand called HIVE. Hive is something that I am so excited and so passionate about - a new Mid-Michigan wedding community specially curated to include the best of the best in indie wedding vendors that our area has to offer. We are already planning next year's show at a new venue in Jackson, and we can't wait to tell you all about it!

What will HIVE look like in the future? HIVE is all about creating a community among wedding professionals who specialize in nontraditional weddings. From the community, we will execute styled wedding shoots, offer vendor recommendations to inquiring brides, publish wedding planning content, feature the work of the vendors in our community, and more!
