This Year

This year has been both wonderful and terrible. As good as the goods were, the bads were bad. I got published twice on reputable wedding blogs and have finally found my style and truly love and am proud of my work. The amount that my work has grown this year is huge. I have already fully booked next year with weddings (actually more weddings than I wanted to take on). I also had four weddings/other sessions in a row for which I received negative feedback/required me to go back and redo one thing or another this summer. It was hard. It was a huge blow to my positive view of myself as a photographer and my work. I cried. I lost sleep. I panicked. But I did what I needed to do, and I moved on. I learned from it, and I have learned how to avoid this kind of thing in the future. All that said, I am so happy with this year's work and this year's clients. Thank you so much - all of you - for allowing me to photograph you. <3 It has meant the world to me, and I wouldn't be where I am today without you.

So here's a look back at some of my favorites from each session I did this year.

Thanks for a fabulous year, everyone. <3 See you next year.
