Wow, it has been a long time since I have blogged - but last year was something.

Last year, I was pregnant with our fourth and had hyperemesis gravidarum. It was HARD. I spent two months in bed, went to the hospital for IV fluids regularly as well as an iron infusion at the end. Looking back, I don't know how I made it through wedding days - well I mean I threw up during weddings and carried around a giant bag of medicines and had alarms on my phone to remind me to take everything. This wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I loved it so much despite extreme nausea, throwing up on the side of the road, and destroying a rest stop bathroom immediately after.

Ashlea and Dan were going to be married this spring but decided to switch to a small intimate wedding at Francis Park last year. It was truly lovely, and I am now obsessed with rose garden weddings.

This wedding probably represents the vast majority of weddings last year if I had to guess - plans changed, numbers reduced, small and intimate.

Oh and I am still obsessed with first looks. This wedding is no exception.

After the first look, we went ahead with a few portraits before the ceremony in the rose garden.

But these portraits though.

To end the evening, Dan and Ashlea shared a private first dance over looking the river.
